2024 edition — Hybrid

Roma Jazz Festival is the most important jazz event in Rome. Now in its 48th edition, it brings together artists from around the world, showcasing jazz in all its forms.

This year’s identity is inspired by the raw energy of street art, embracing its bold, expressive nature to create a dynamic visual language. Through a generative approach, typography is translated into primitive marks, echoing the spontaneity and rhythm of urban expression. This transformation turns letters into a new visual code—an interplay of chaos and structure, much like jazz itself.

The result is a living identity, constantly shifting and adapting, mirroring the streets it draws from. Graffiti-inspired strokes, layered textures, and vibrant contrasts reflect the improvisational spirit of jazz while paying homage to Rome’s urban culture, creating an immersive dialogue between music, city, and contemporary visual culture.
