Romaeuropa Festival
Romaeuropa Festival is one of Europe’s most prestigious festivals for theatre, dance, and music, drawing artists from around the globe to perform each year. With a legacy spanning over forty years, it stands as a beacon of contemporary and experimental performing arts.
In 2022, we embarked on a comprehensive redesign of the Festival’s visual identity, aiming to adapt and evolve alongside the annual campaigns in the years to come.
To achieve this, we developed a dynamic identity that eschews reliance on a fixed logo or typeface. Instead, it is rooted in the concept of movement and a series of typographic principles that collectively shape the Festival’s distinctive visual language.

The redesign of REF’s identity also included the Romaeuropa Foundation brand, which we abbreviated to F RE, to create continuity between the two acronyms.
